hi, i'm avery
Hello! My name is Avery, and welcome to my website! Here you can find information about my education, experience, and projects. Flip through this book to learn a bit more about me :D
I'm in the second year of my Masters of Science of Computer Science at McGill University in the McGill Graphics Lab. I study physics based animation, specifically friction solving for rolling objects.
My other academic interests include computer graphics & rendering, game development, and software engineering/design. I'm also really interested in physical simulation of natural phenomena!
Outside of tech, some of my hobbies include playing bass, knitting, making pixel art, and hosting Venus Radio on CKUT 90.3 FM. I love music, games, art, and science, and am always looking for new ways to learn and explore!
I've also been interested in learning more about plant and animal biology and environmental science, and have been working on finding ways to use my technical skills to help with environmental conservation and sustainability.
Thanks for checking out my bio! Keep scrolling to see some projects I've worked on/my other work experience, and feel free to reach out to chat!
